When God created the universe He gave man the awesome responsibility of reigning over His creation. He did not instruct us to abuse the earth. Instead He told us to manage the earth. Economics is study of managing our scarce resources. Economics studies how consumers, businesses and governments reach decisions related to using their scarce resources. Families must live within their budget. Businesses strive to provide their goods in the most efficient manner, which in turn minimizes waste. Even governments are called to be responsible in managing their scarce resources (taxpayer money). Do the choices we make honor God?
